Kingdom Wealth Begins Within: Healing, Identity & Stewardship in the Marketplace

What if preparing for Kingdom wealth has less to do with how much we can acquire—and more to do with who we are becoming?

That question sits at the heart of a powerful new conversation on Mantled for the Marketplace.

In this episode, I sat down with Cierra, founder of Eden Streams Ministry, to talk about Kingdom entrepreneurship, financial sovereignty, identity, healing, stewardship, and what it really looks like to allow God into the way we build.

As an entrepreneur myself, this conversation hit close to home.

Salt of the Earth Soap Company was born from obedience to something God placed in my heart. Over the years, I’ve learned that building with God involves much more than creating a product, making sales, or growing a business.

God is interested in the person carrying the vision, too.

Can Our Wounds Follow Us Into Business?

One of the most important parts of our conversation centered around soul fracture and restoration.

We can have a God-given vision and still carry rejection, fear, insecurity, disappointment, scarcity, or wounds from previous seasons.

And those things don’t necessarily disappear when we become entrepreneurs.

They can affect how we lead.

How we price our products or services.

How we respond to rejection.

How we handle success.

How we receive opportunities.

And even how much we believe we are capable of stewarding.

Sometimes we ask God to expand the business while He is working to expand and heal the person carrying it.

That changes the way we think about growth.

Kingdom Wealth Is About Stewardship

We also talked about Kingdom wealth and some of the resistance that can exist within the Church when conversations turn toward money.

But money itself isn't the mission.

Kingdom wealth is about stewardship.

What could happen when resources are placed into the hands of healed, obedient people who genuinely desire to advance the purposes of God?

Businesses can be built.

Families can be strengthened.

People in need can be helped.

Ministries can be funded.

Communities can be impacted.

Generosity can increase.

And Kingdom assignments can move from ideas into action.

The question isn't simply, “How do I get more?”

A much deeper question is:

“God, who do I need to become to faithfully steward what You want to place in my hands?”

From Vision to Action

There are people carrying incredible ideas that have never moved beyond the idea stage.

Maybe God gave you the vision.

Maybe you wrote it down.

Maybe you've prayed about it for years.

But eventually, faith requires movement.

Cierra and I talked about the practical side of Kingdom entrepreneurship—including moving from vision into action, the importance of sales and technology, community and discipleship, and recognizing the divine connections God may place around us.

We cannot always build what God has called us to build alone.

Sometimes the next part of the assignment is connected to a person you haven't met yet.

Healing Before Expansion

One thought continued to stand out to me after this conversation:

Expansion without healing can magnify what was already broken.

If God desires to increase our influence, resources, businesses, or opportunities, then allowing Him to heal our identity becomes part of preparing for that increase.

This isn't about becoming perfect before God can use us.

It's about being willing to let Him into every room—including the rooms where we conduct business.

Our faith doesn't stop when we clock in, open the laptop, make a sale, negotiate a contract, launch a product, or balance the books.

The marketplace can become ministry when we invite God into it.

There Is More to This Conversation…

We covered much more than I could fit into one blog post.

And honestly, some conversations are better heard than summarized.

If you're an entrepreneur, business owner, ministry leader, creative, or simply someone carrying an idea that you believe God has given you, I encourage you to listen to this episode of Mantled for the Marketplace featuring Cierra of Eden Streams Ministry.

We talk about Kingdom wealth, healing, identity restoration, integrity, financial sovereignty, divine connections, technology, entrepreneurship, and preparing to steward what God is doing in the marketplace.

And we close the conversation in prayer.

🎙️ The new episode premieres Tuesday, August 25.
